okay! I'm hooked! Great hook; one that all authors strive to present. James, you're a peach. Loved A Million Little Pieces, and will probably love this one, too. I found so much inspiration in the first book, and answers to my questions concerning drugs and alcohol in my world and those who have died from both. I now understand so much better. Even though so many have not listened to the warning "no more. One more will kill you." and then had to accept the resulting funeral and sadness of missing a truly lost soul. Thanks.

I don't think that I will ever forget the day that Oprah so publicly humiliated James over his book containing certain facts that were not entirely truthful. After that show, I quit watching her show for a very long time. I couldn't believe that she could do that to anyone on her show. It broke my heart to see James be so publicly chastised that way. It's a wonder that he didn't relapse after his meeting with Oprah; Then to lose his baby boy not long after that, had to be almost impossible to bear. I have a son and I often wonder what it would feel like if I lost him. I saw James' pain in his eyes when he recently met with Oprah. That is a very deep pain that he and his wife will never be able to erase. Fortunately he has managed to pull himself up again, with help from family and close friends, and re-invent himself. Congratulations James. You and your family really deserve all the wonderful things that are coming your way now several years later. Also, congrats to you for setting up your own publishing business.....that is awesome! No more having to bend for other publishers.....you can write and publish anything you want to publish....that is the best way to let the world know that you are doing just fine now. I have and will continue to be one of your loyal fans. In fact, I gave your book to my brother who has been addicted to crack cocaine for almost 20 years. I only hope and pray that he continues to find the same strength, determination and perseverance that you were able to find and hold onto when you made the decision to quit. Good luck and keep on publishing your books as well as other authors' books that you decide to publish.
