Just read A Million Little Pieces and really liked the book. If you can imagine, I only found out about the whole controversy thing after reading the book. Honestly, I really don't think the factuality of the writing affects the quality of the book. I just did a full book review on mu blog: http://www.wayofthewarriorqueen.com I'm now going to buy and read Frey's next book! Just read A Million Little Pieces and really liked the book.
If you can imagine, I only found out about the whole controversy thing after reading the book.

Raw. His own truth. A million Little Pieces was my bible for a while. I have never struggled with addiction, but I have struggled with life. That book saved me. I don't care about whether details are 'accurate' or not. It spoke to me and healed me. The writing is the gift. The heart of the writer is the gift. Bright Shiny Morning is likewise an amazing read. James Frey is one of the great American writers. Rather, one of the great Human writers. Thank you. I respect James Frey as an author and a human being. Raw. His own truth.
